The figure above compares the tool life of Φ16mm FRM-type and MXF-type cutters during peripheral wall machining. Testing parameters:

Radial depth of cut : 0.1 mm
Results demonstrate that the Diemaster 5G MXF milling cutter exhibits slower edge wear progression than the RNM in the final ≈100 minutes. Under identical machining durations, the MXF achieves reduced flank wear magnitude .
